Summertime means a few things to different people. For some, it is pool time or kayaking. Maybe for some people down south, it might remind them of enjoying some peach tea on the porch with the family. We get it! A cold drink on while the sun cooks is as refreshing as it gets. We love our peach tea, too.
As time progresses, and we get older, we find that its just that much easier to grab an ice-cold peach cider to quench our thirst and bring those ole southern vibes our direction. On September 5th, 1914 Babe Ruth hit his first professional homerun at Hanlan’s Point Stadium located on Toronto Island. To this day, the world’s most expensive baseball has never been recovered.
Much like the roars of the stadium, now gone, in 1875, there were over 375,000 peach trees in Ontario (not one of those varieties remains today).
With a pleasant aroma of sun-ripened, freshly-cut Ontario peaches, this semi-sweet cider is balanced with a tart finish, and a subtle apple undertone. “Lost but not forgotten” is what inspired the crafting of Stadium Island peach.
