Hello, friends. We hope everyone is doing well during the quarantine. Luckily, once this is all over, this note will be irrelevant and date the content, but it was worthy to mention as we want everyone to be happy and healthy.
Being happy and healthy led us to our latest installment of Cider and Snacks! For this episode, we will be reviewing a berry cider and a healthier chocolate snack. We were able to try 2 Town’s Made Marion and two of Unreal Chocolate’s offerings. These are not only delicious, playing on the berry/chocolate combination, but they are better than the treats you might be currently consuming. And, these are both items you can get right now during quarantine! This cider & snack should leave you much happier and, hopefully, healthier when looking down the candy aisle.
2 Towns Ciderhouse is located in Oregon and churns out some of the most accessible and tasty cider in the US. Established in 2010, this independently-owned and independently-operated cider house delivery high-quality ciders in a variety of flavors. Today, we review one of their flagship ciders, Made Marion. This 6% abv cider is made with Marion blackberries and comes in a 12oz can. Being punchy, tart, and delicious, we decided to pair this with some of the dark chocolate notes of Unreal chocolate snacks. Unreal Snacks are some of the best treats we have tasted for Cider and Snacks. These are mindfully-made snacks that focus on the ingredients being sustainable, non-gmo, fair trade, real, and tasty. Mission accomplished on that front by brothers Kris and Nicky.
We had multiple products by them but paired the cider with their dark chocolate peanut butter cups with crispy quinoa and their dark chocolate gems.
