Award-winning magazine Cidercraft teams up with digital cider guide CiderScene
Cidercraft, the leading publication dedicated to celebrating the world of cider, and cider blog and community guide CiderScene today announced a partnership between the two media platforms. The collaboration brings together two of hard cider’s most influential platforms with one main objective: expand the reach of cider in the United States and internationally.
With Cidercraft’s readership demographic leaning toward seasoned cider drinkers and CiderScene’s toward the cider-curious imbiber, the two established brands naturally complement each other and the pairing seemed like a match made in heaven. The partnership aims to unify those audiences and further diversify the cider-related content for both platforms.
Both family-owned and-operated businesses, the complementary relationship between Cidercraft and CiderScene started at CiderCon 2019. “We had the pleasure of meeting the O’Malley brothers at CiderCon and loved their enthusiasm for the cider industry,” said Kristin Ackerman Bacon, Cidercraft publisher. “We felt the synergy between our two companies almost immediately. Through the power of partnership, we are aiming to strengthen our two already-strong media outlets, marry our audiences and get boots on the ground to expand our physical outreach — all to better the cider experience for our trusted readers and cider drinkers.”
For consumers, the collaboration will feature live broadcasts on social media, virtual cider events, product reviews and shared content on each other’s websites. To benefit the cider industry, the two media outlets will be offering integrated advertising supported by both platforms, such as social media partnerships, branded content and co-promotional packages.
“We are thrilled to be working more closely with the team at Cidercraft Magazine,” said Nolan O’Malley, Owner at CiderScene. “Not only are they consummate professionals, they share the same passion for cider as our team. We found that to better serve this wonderful community, we would join our resources to amplify our voice in the market giving cideries and fans more valued content.”
To kick off the partnership, Cidercraft and CiderScene will be hosting a live happy hour July 1 at 5 p.m. PDT via Cidercraft’s Facebook & Youtube channel. The team will be joined by some of the industry’s beloved producers and cidermakers, so be sure and tune in to find out who pops in for a toast! More details here.
