What are your plans on Saturday, August 18th? Hopefully attending this year’s CiderStock at Woodchuck Cidery! Every year since 2014, Woodchuck Cider has hosted a festival right in the cidery’s backyard in Middlebury, VT. What started as a Grand Opening CIDERbration when they moved to their new location in Middlebury became so popular that they decided to continue hosting it each consecutive year since! You can expect lots of Vermont cider, both on tap and in cans, tons of local food options, lawn games, and of course some awesome bands! CiderScene co-owners and brothers Trevor and Nolan have made a tradition of traveling halfway across the country to CiderStock, but this year they’re passing it along to their East Coast rep, Julia, so be on the lookout for her and don’t be afraid to say hi!
Better come hungry, because there will be ice cream from Island Homemade Ice Cream and Lulu Ice Cream’s Farm-to-Spoon ice cream, as well as fried dough creations by Thelma’s Bread Dough. Sausage Shack will be there serving up sausages, and there will be kabobs from Ahli Baba’s Kabob Shop, plus more traditional food made by A&W All American Food and healthier selections by Crescent Foods Catering. With a lineup like this, there’s something for everyone! Be sure to wash down your delicious eats with any of Woodchuck’s famous ciders…that is why we’re really here, after all.
Plus, get ready for some awesome musical performances by the local Vermont bluesy, hard rock trio band, Seth Yacovone Band based right up the road from the cidery in Burlington, VT. Also, expect awesome performances by the DC-based trio, power pop band Jukebox the Ghost, Nashville-based, five-member, rock, pop, synth band Moon Taxi, and headliners 311. 311 became known as one of the most dynamic and entertaining live performers by creating their own style of music which combines rock, reggae, hip-hop, and funk. You may recognize them by their song “Amber” or any of their other popular tunes. Be sure to check these guys out before the event!
Tickets are still available for the best cider festival Vermont has to offer, but time is running out! Click here to purchase your CiderStock tickets here on TicketFly. Tickets are only $35 in advance or $40 at the door on the 18th, plus kids 12 and under are FREE! You won’t want to miss out on this event! Doors open at 2:00 and the show begins at 3:00, giving you plenty of time to grab a drink and a bite to eat, and maybe even some cool Woodchuck swag before enjoying all of the amazing musical talent being offered. There will also be a shuttle service to and from the event, and there are some nearby lodging options for those needing a place to crash afterward.
The event is being held at 1321 Exchange St, Middlebury, VT. If you have any further questions, be sure to ask them here! Looking forward to seeing you all there!
