During Cidercon, we had the opportunity to sit down with Alec Steinmetz, owner and founder of Forward Cider. Forward Cider is Chicago’s latest addition to the growing cider culture in the city of Chicago. He creates french-inspired ciders with no sulfites, tannic apples, and 0g of sugar.
Alec has a deep history in the beer and cider industry. He was the head cidermaker at Buskey Cider in Virginia, quality control and cidermaker at Graft, and, now, taking his own show on the road with Forward.Watch the below video to see a very candid video with Alec where my head is cut off for 1/3 of the video.
