June 3, 2023Variety pack featuring this year’s award winners available via collaboration between Good Food Foundation & Press Then Press Cider Shop. Shipping available nationally.
The Good Food Foundation announced this year’s award winners last week, including 21 awardees in the cider category. Cider drinkers across the country can get several of the award-winning ciders through Press Then Press, an online cider specialty shop that has partnered with the Good Food Foundation to release cider variety packs featuring the award winners.
“We have always been impressed with any ciders we’ve tried for the first time after learning they won a Good Food Award,” said Storie Madrid, co-owner of Press Then Press. “This year’s winners are no exception, some of the best ciders we’ve tasted this year.”
Curated 6-bottle and 12-bottle variety packs are available for purchase, with shipping available to most states. The 6-bottle pack includes ciders from this year’s award winners: Liberty Ciderworks (Spokane, WA), Bauman’s Cider (Portland, OR), Madrone Cellars & Cider (San Juan Island, WA), Fable Farms Fermentory (Barnard, VT), and Lassen Traditional Cider (Chico, CA). The 12-bottle pack also includes 6 additional ciders from recent awardees and finalists.
Competition for a Good Food Award is fierce, with more than 2,000 entries annually across all 18 award categories. Standards for entry are high, with an emphasis on responsible and sustainable growing and production practices. Three cider-makers from each region – North, South, East, West, and Central – receive an award each year. A list of all award winners can be found on the Good Food Awards map.
“The judges selected some truly delicious ciders. We have more than 400 ciders in stock right now, and these are amongst our favorites,” said Madrid. “We’re excited to partner with the Good Food Foundation and support them and many of our favorite cider-makers through the sale of these cider bundles.”
More of the recent award winners will be available via Press Then Press in the near future.
“We are working with several cideries from around the country on getting their products into our shop, including more of this year’s award winners,” said Madrid.
Through the end of May, Press Then Press is donating a portion of all sales to the Good Food Foundation, which builds support for the many growers, makers, and merchants whose focus is to share the kind of food and drink that many want to eat: tasty, authentic, and responsible.
