Homestead Cider, producer of High Limb Cider, is adding hard tea to its portfolio with the launch of Surfbird Tea, a cold brewed hard tea blended with natural fruit flavors, just in time for summer.
Surfbird is available in four summer-inspired flavor blends: Italian Ice Half & Half Lemonade with black tea, Piña Colada with black tea, Hibiscus Peach with black tea, and Juicy Watermelon with green tea. These fruit flavors are available in 12 pack variety packs, perfect for sharing at your next BBQ or beach day.
Each 12oz can of Surfbird contains 98 calories, 1.5g of sugar, is gluten free, and has an ABV of 5% and is created by fermenting cold brewed tea.
“As summer was approaching, we knew that people would continue to look for new refreshing drinks that are low in calories, sugar, and ABV, and we knew we had an opportunity to deliver on all of these things without compromising on flavor,” said Jeremy Quaglia, Founder of Homestead Cider.
The beach-inspired brand was born out of a healthy love for spiking iced tea during a beach day with friends.
“It’s refreshing, tastes great, and ultimately, it’s made for fun,” said Quaglia. “We’re going with variety packs only because they’re designed to be shared around a firepit or beach blanket this summer.”
Surfbird Tea variety packs will be available soon in Rhode Island and Massachusetts in the month of June.
