April 19, 2022Our Honest Nipyata Review
As part of our Non-Cider Series, we got our hands on a Nipyata!
The Poppin Bottles in the Ice Nipyata!® (middle image above) arrived on our doorstep to our delight. This particular Nipyata is in the shape of a bottle of champagne. In the packaging, we had a blindfold, beating stick, rules, and the piñata itself. The piñata itself was filled but you can also peel back a sticker and fill it with more of what you want!
Our Nipyata was filled with 10 total nips and some delicious candy including Skittles, Starburst, Sour Straws, and a couple other sweets. On the liquor side, you are able to get up to 25 nips in this particular piñata. While we did get a variety of liquors including Bacardi Rum, Captain Morgan Spiced Rum and Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, you are able to either get what they give you or customize your spirits for a few bucks more. Other options include Kahlua, Sauza Gold Tequila, Howler Head Banana Bourbon, and many more. The bottles are all plastic which means you won’t be breaking one on a really good swing and drop to the floor.
There are over 20 piñata options for birthdays, liquor bottles, a unicorn, a watermelon, a traditional piñata, and one that is… NSFW. Many of the larger piñatas hold up to 30 liquor bottles.
When it came down to the smashing, all four participants got to take a few swings. While it did break on the third person’s turn, Trevor took the last swings to turn this piñata to dust. Not much is different from a normal piñata, but the blindfold and promise of adult treats kept us thoroughly entertained. This is the perfect way to blend childhood and adult fun. This Nipyata came on a long string that we were able to hang over the undercarriage of our deck, so the ability to make this work in any setting seems tangible. The stick is a decorated wooden rod and can do some damage on a good full swing so keep your eyes and ears on the person taking a swing. The blindfold is fairly stiff so you can cheat and see through a crack or two around the nose. Make sure to watch for those cheaters!
All in all, our Nipyata review is positive. The Nipyata is the evolution of a traditional party activity with the adult twist that brings just as much energy, and drunkenness, to the party. With customization options, you can get what you like or what the birthday girl or boy desires. With piñatas for any occasion, this doesn’t just have to be for birthdays. This can be used for anniversaries, bachelor parties, and even a Fourth of July part in the midst of summer. If you want to make an event out of getting boozed up, this is a gift for you and yours. Cheers!
Nipyatas range in price $60 all the way to $160 dollars. There are options for every different scenario and budget and they have sales all of the time on the website so keep an eye out! All Nipyatas come with free shipping and free returns on all orders and this helps make the price digestible.
They also have thousands of Nipyata reviews to read through to see if this really is worth its weight. We’ve seen good things and we had a good experience, too.
Nipyata also makes Drinkable Greeting Cards. These cards are fairly simple, but perfect in practice. Instead of a regular Valentine’s Day card or Birthday card, they have cards that house a nip within the card itself. This works well as cards seem to be getting more and more expensive for simple paper and ink. At the very least, this card comes with something to sip on. They even have a card from Budweiser that comes with a cute little Bud beer. These cards are bulkier to house the nip, so don’t expect this nip to accidentally break. A card that requires a driver’s license – we dig it!
