Chicago’s South Loop Festival has become a year-round staple for cider drinkers to gather in Women’s Park. We have attended the festival for the last couple years and every time it has been a gorgeous day filled with cider, beer and good times. The event will be this Saturday, July 28th, 2018 from 3-7:30PM for VIP guests and 4-7:30PM for general admission. There will be a large array of ciders and beers from all over the country and some of the best food trucks in Illinois. Be prepared for some live music and other events that will entertain the crowd.
As for cider, there will be the following cideries:
2 Towns Ciderhouse
Blakes Hard Cider Co.
Eris Brewery & Cider House
Ferro Farms Cider
Right Bee Cider
The Northman Cider Pub
Stem Cider
Uncle John Hard Cider
Virtue Cider
We will be running the Blake’s Hard Cider booth with the rep. and will be helping pour the cider. Of course, there will be some goodies to give away and perhaps a contest if you are at the event. If you are not familiar with Blake’s they are a cidery based out of Armada, Michigan. They focus on the resources of their family farm to make modern ciders that appeal to all different types of cider drinkers. As for tickets, there are multiple options: VIP, VIP Designated Driver, Gold Pass, and general admission. VIP will allow you to enter at 3PM, a 22 oz bottle of stout, pint glass, 35 drinking tokens, VIP lanyard, VIP garden access with light apps and rare beer/cider. For general admission, you will get a samples glass and 25 sample tokens. Get your tickets now.
