After launching in 2021 to much excitement, this summer, Virtue Cider is continuing its cider subscription program Virtue Cider Society with the launch of its summer box, complete with four bottles of Virtue Cider perfect for summertime sipping.
The latest Cider Society Box brings fans a summer day at Virtue Farm, which is located in Fennville, Michigan, in a box. For only $90 per box (sent quarterly; four bottles per box), cider lovers nationwide can open up their package and be met with the glow of goldenhour, the scent of lavender and the taste of fresh, local honey.

Abeille
Cider with Honey
8% ABV
Tasting notes: Heavy honey, baked apple, floral
Pairs with jambon beurre sandwiches, camembert, and crepes
The honeybee holds a special place at the heart of Virtue Farm. Our hives sit out beyond our pasture, keeping our precious honeybees safe and sound. Abeille is a cider with honey that comes in at 8% ABV. It tastes of heavy, local honey, baked apple and has light floral notes. Best enjoyed in a wine glass on a picnic blanket with jambon beurre sandwiches and a cheese board with Camembert.
goldenhour
English-style with a Fennville twist
7.1% ABV
Tasting notes: stonefruit, honeysuckle
Pairs with grilled cheese sandwiches and charcuterie boards
Named for the epic sunsets at Virtue Farm in Fennville, MI, goldenhour has notes of stone fruit, honeysuckle, and golden honey. Visit us soon and enjoy a glass of goldenhour at golden hour under the beautiful sky.
Les Fleurs Royales
Lavender Cider
7.8% ABV
Tasting notes: lavender, herbaceous rose
Pairs with sheeps milk, french toast, chocolate, and fresh berries.
Lavender grows wild at Virtue Farm, adding light fragrance and colorful beauty to the landscape. Les Fleurs Royales is made with locally grown lavender that gives the cider herbaceous notes of rose. Best paired with a moment of self care alongside a plate of French toast with strawberries and chocolate.
Papillon
Apple Wine
8.6% ABV
Tasting notes: Overripe apple, citrus, tropical fruit, dried fruit, honey, vanilla, earthy
Pairs with cheese boards of any kind with additions like fruit and honeycomb
Papillon is a tribute to the near-endangered Monarch butterfly. Virtue Farm is home to an extensive and growing butterfly waystation, which are also rare these days as insecticides and over mowing eliminates breeding ground and living space for pollinators. Papillon invites you to be a part of the solution- color in the label and tag Virtue- we will donate a portion of the proceeds to a local butterfly preservation society. Want to do more?
